If you would like to request a change of domain name for your implementation of Centercode (including changing your existing custom domain), your new custom domain must be registered with the registrar of your choice. Once you've created your custom domain, please email **[help@centercode.com](mailto:help@centercode.com)** with the following information: - The **full custom domain** you’d like to use (e.g., `portal.yourcompany.com`) - The **current Centercode site URL** (prior to this change) Once our IT team reviews and verifies your request, we’ll send you the necessary details to create **two DNS CNAME records**: - One to verify domain ownership with AWS - One to point your custom domain to the new Centercode-hosted site Once this is complete, Centercode will handle your DNS certificate and renewal through AWS Certificate Manager. This allows your SSL certificate to automatically be generated by Centercode to keep your custom domain from expiring.   **NOTE:  Due to Android mobile devices' stricter adherence to allowed characters in domain/subdomains we do not allow underscores in custom Centercode domains.** ### If you'd prefer to use your own SSL certificate... Please provide the following to help@centercode.com: - Custom URL - Original Centercode URL as the CNAME in your DNS (example.centercode.com) - Contact Email Address - Company Name - Department - City - State - Country Next, you'll be provided with a generated SSL Certificate Signing Request (CSR). Please have your company's IT utilize that SSL to generate a new certificate file to Centercode to configure your new DNS.  Generally, SSL certificates must be renewed once per year. Centercode will notify you two weeks before your certificate's expiration date and will send a CSR (Certificate Signing Request).
